Jeff Moore, a partner with Brown & Hofmeister, has a practice emphasizing local governmental law, economic development, and zoning and land use law.

Jeff possesses 20 years of municipal law experience and is a frequent speaker around the state of Texas on municipal topics, such as economic development for Texas cities, including the Type-A and Type-B sales tax, Chapter 380 agreements, tax abatement agreements, tax increment financing, the Texas Open Meetings Act, and the Texas Public Information Act.

Before joining Brown & Hofmeister, Jeff was an assistant city attorney for the city of Austin for more than six years and spent four years with the Texas Attorney General’s office as the head of the Municipal Affairs Section. Currently, Jeff assists the Texas Economic Development Council, the Texas Attorney General’s office, and the State Comptroller’s office with Type-A and Type-B sales tax training seminars required by the Texas Legislature.
