Robert F. Brown

Robert Brown is a founding partner of Brown & Hofmeister. Robert’s concentrated areas of practice include municipal law, constitutional law, civil rights, zoning and land use matters, as well as litigation and appellate work. Robert has argued multiple cases before the Texas Supreme Court on behalf of Texas cities. Additionally, he acts as city attorney for numerous North Texas municipalities.

A past Chair of the Federal Litigation Section of the Federal Bar Association (1994-98). Robert is a frequent author and speaker on civil rights and land use matters, with more than 100 articles and presentations to his credit. D Magazine recognized Robert as one of the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” for 2007, 2008, and 2009.
